Displaze announces the availability of a range of Slim Line IDE CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives compatible with many disc formats making it ideal for OEMs to integrate where space is at a premium.
Each model has a height of less than 13mm allowing it to be designed into the smallest of internal spaces. 12cm and 8cm Disc sizes are supported
The lightweight drives (240g) are available with optional aluminium case reducing the weight to 200g. All units are internal drawer type with manual load, IDE/ATAPI interface, DVD/ROM & CD-R/RW drive, enabling writing of CD-R/RW discs and reading of regular CD/DVD ROM discs.
The SBW-241 offers 8x DVD-ROM reads and 24x CD-R disc reading, 16x CD-RW disc writing and 24X speed CD-ROM disc reading speeds.
Various CD/DVD formats are supported such as Karaoke CD, Multi-session Photo-CD, i-Trax CD, CD Extra, CD Plus, CDR and CD-RW. A full list of supported formats is available upon request.
The SBW range supports standard windows operating systems. Approvals include CE, FCC, UL and TUV.
Volume Pricing for the SBW-241 is in the order of €160, read only versions are available from €90.
