Thine's Video Signal Digitizer provides all functions needed in digitizing analog video signals. This simplifies designing/constructing the analog front end of LCD/Plasma flat panel displays, data projectors and digital TV sets. It features three high speed 8bit ADCs and a low jitter line-lock PLL allowing capturing of video signals ranging from NTSC to QXGA resolution with high quality conversion. The device also integrates a sync processing unit, whose sync monitoring function provides information that is useful in identifying refresh rate, resolution and sync/scan format of given video signals. The unit also provides functions to extract vertical sync from composite sync and generate a signal to identify field parity. Features
Cost Saving due to functions on single monolithic chip 270Msps maximum conversion rate Various forms of syncs accepted All functions and operation parameters programmable via 4-wire serial interface port Low power consumption
