Allocation is coming
We have been seeing increasing
number of companies struggling to find supply of LCDs from their normal
channels. It looks like to Xmas rush to get those flat screen TVs has
swallowed the worlds supply of LCDs.
AUO are currently working to 6
week lead time on 15" and 17" LCD so place your orders now for production
in the middle of February.
Prices are on the rise
Prices in the far east are on the
rise. We have been informed that some manufacturers intend to increase
the wholesale panel price by at least 10USD per month until supply and
demand return to equilibrium.
Remember we are able
to offer panels and complete kits for you OEM projects.
17 inch SXGA TFT LCD Family 
The M170EG02 is the latest
17" product to be announced by AUO. This panel is a replacement
for the M170EN07 and will be in production by 2H2004. The main difference
will be increased Laminae to 280cd/m2 and it will conform to the
PSWG (Panel Standardisation Working Group).

15 inch XGA TFT LCD
Despite reports of the discontinuation
of the best* 15" panel on the market, the M150XN04, we can confirm
this product will remain in production until the end of 2004. We
will keep you informed of the replacement strategy as it is confirmed
from AUO.
